You've Got Yale!

There is no new episode of Gossip Girl this week. I'm just watching the last one from last week. Some things I have to say before I start-
::Who is Serena and Erik's father?
::Do you think that it's weird for Serena and Dan to date if their parents do too?
::Do you think that they shouldn't date because they share a sibling?

Onto the episode...
::I love that coat that Serena is wearing. I want her hair so badly.

::I miss Chuck's old hair. I love him though- bad, bad boy and all. Pink socks-bold choice!

::The new teacher, Miss (Rachel)Carr, is adorable. She was in the short-lived but really good tv show, Related. Her name is Laura Breckenridge and she is reportedly going to be around DAN for awhile... hmmmm.

::I don't like Nate and Vanessa together.

::Who do you think Lily and Rufus' son is? Don't you think he's going to make an appearance?

:: Does Lily feel guilty- about her and Rufus, about Bart? I don't know but I think that she really does love Chuck.

:: Would you lie to your friend like S does to B about getting into Yale? I think that it's only gonna cause more problems for them. B needs to get ahold of herself. And, I don't like white tights like B is wearing. I do love the red bag.

:: Chuck calling Rufus Lily's "mistress" is awesome. I like Rufus, don't get me wrong, it's just funny.

:: I think Jenny is adorable. Her fashion is so fabu. I love the hair, as I've said before, even though no one else does. I think that she is also funny and spunky.

:: S's dress for the opera is good. Lily's is better. I really like Chuck and Nate in a tux. Dan's long tie is very hip and fresh. Vanessa looks great in red.

:: Why do Dan and Serena create problems that are not? They want to be tortured, right? Is it just teenager-y or what? They kinda bore me though. I HATED the gross Aaron that she was dating though.

:: Do you notice Kelly Rutherford's baby belly? She is wearing the big roomy dress, they hide it behind banisters and Rufus' hand.

:: Hmmm, Lily adopting Chuck... She doesn't talk to her own children before she does it? I'm glad that she did though.

:: What is Miss Carr gonna do to Blair?

:: OMG! What is Jack doing to Lily? I'm nauseated. Oh! Oh! Chuck rescued her. I'm teary and I have goosebumps. The song playing doesn't help the feeling. Whew!

::Oh! Awwwwwwwwwww!!! Chuck and Rufus shake hands. Chuck's hair looks sexy here. I'm glad that he's re-joing the family.

:: Dan and Serena having problems- blah, blah, blah... It's such a snoozefest.

:: Uh-oh, B has detention and she is really, really pissed. Dorota- "Is it war?" That is funny. Look out Miss Carr, you are going down.

Scoop (BEWARE of Spoilers)

Who wants TV scoop? (Ummm, probably not a lot of you judging by the amount of people who read-comment-on this blog, but whatever)

Are you wondering WTF is going on over on Grey's? What is wrong with Izzie? Last week, she actually (appeared) to HAVE SEX with her dead fiance', Denny. Many people are speculating that the good doctor has a brain tumor and is dying/will die soon. Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who plays Denny, is contracted until February. Shonda Rhimes, the creator of the show, says that the brain tumor is not the case. Can we trust her though? She is famous for throwing off spoilers or changing things all around after leaks.

Also, word is, Sadie (Die) and Callie may be getting closer. For a second. AND, so will Little Grey and McSteamy (look for that in early '09).
Let's discuss these things!! What do you think about these couplings?

After this week's Gossip Girl, we all know who is going to die, right? Well, I've heard that Ed Westwick puts in an Emmy winning performance during the funeral show. Really! Also, R & L just may get together after all....

I've been planning to blog about my favorite shows but I barely have time to watch all my favorite shows! Now that I'm not depressed, I am always on the GO!GO!GO! I still really love tv as you can see. I just can't seem to fit it all in. That is why I'm behind. It's Thursday night and I'm just watching last Thursday's Survivor! I'll try and do better.

Wednesday Greatness

7:00- Pushing Daisies If you have not watched this show, you really are missing out on a GEM! The show is so beautiful, which sounds crazy, unless you've watched it. You'll wanna dance and be in love and bake pies. Get season 1 on DVD now.
8:00- Private Practice- The spin-off of Grey's Anatomy comes back tonight after being gone for the writer's strike and summer break. Pushing Daisies and Dirty Sexy Money are the same.
9:00- Dirty Sexy Money- I LOVE this show!

I got all caught up on ANTM, GG, and BB10 this weekend. Let's chat about those shows and also, let's talk about THIS which is a big deal to me. BIG.DAMN.DEAL.
*Beware of SPOILERS! If you are not caught up on these shows, don't read yet, 'k?*

ANTM
Lemme just get out some of my first thoughts (that I remember now)- I know that it's your show TYRA and I know that you were/are a model. Everybody knows that, but really, get over yourself! I cannot believe that there are still so many girls interested in spending so much time in a house filled with HUGE pictures of Tyra Banks smiling with her eyes. And I can't believe that I still watch the damn show, but I do.

Isis the "transgender"- hmmmmm, I've really thought about this one. I do understand that some girls are uncomfortable and confused. I'm a small town girl and have lots of questions about pre-surgery transgendered girls. I'd wanna know, what is different about you (Isis) than some cross-dressing man? Then I saw that she is taking shots and I know that they don't just give that stuff out. I cannot imagine her life. It's not for me to judge or know so whatever. I don't see the great beauty though. If we are supposed to see her as a regular contestant than I'm going to do that.

Gossip Girl
How much do I love the Blair and Chuck stuff? Serena and Dan were soooooo sleepy boring in the end. Blair and Chuck are electric hot!! I don't know about this new twisty Nate/Catherine, Duchess/Lord stuff but I like the one uppers with B and Bass-tard. I hate Chuck's hair. I love Blair and Serena's looks in the past two episodes. Serena's dress and hair at the White Party in the Hampton's- HEART STOPPING.

If Vanessa and Rufus get together, I will puke.

Big Brother 10
I would vote neither. I don't like either one at this point. I liked Keesha the best. I think that Dan will win though.

90210
Okay- I think that there are good arguments all over the Internet supporting that either Brandon, Dylan or Steve are the father of Sammy, Kelly Taylor's son. We will supposedly find out who he is on Tuesday's show when Brenda says his name. Here are my (100% dorky) notes on the subject:

Brandon

Kelly said she was talking to Sammy's father. She told Brenda and Nat that she talked to Brandon. BUT, isn't that obvious?

She has history with Brandon (she said she had history with Sammy's father)

Brenda would be Sammy's aunt and would want to be near her nephew. She could just want to be near her friend's child.

Brandon was/is very responsible and would take care of his child. He grew up in a stable family and had two parents who were always there for him. I'd think that he'd want that for his child, too. He is gone for his job- a journalist? Wouldn't your child come first if he/she was a priority?

Jason Priestly has said that she does not want to come back on the show as Brandon Walsh. He may come back as a director. Maybe it's a lie to throw us all off. Maybe they will just use his name.

Dylan

• When the original show ended, Kelly and Dylan were together. They had finally given into their true love for each other.
• Kelly and Dylan had history in high school.
• I think it'll be more of a surprise and drama if it's Dylan. Brenda is on with Kelly!
• Dylan is a bad boy. He is irresponsible and an alcoholic and has had problems with drugs. He has problems with commitment, too. He had a troubled relationship with his father and a tumultuous childhood. I'd think that he'd want better for his own child.
• Luke Perry has said that he doesn't want to appear on the show either. See above.

Steve

• Kelly and Steve dated Freshman year in high school and it took Steve years and years and years to get over her. By the end of the original 90210, Steve was married to Janet and had a daughter, Maddie. Kelly and Dylan were her godparents.
• Sammy looks like Steve with the blonde curly hair. Kelly has blonde hair too.
• Steve's mom's name is Samantha and so maybe Sammy is named for her.
• Steve would be a big shock- he's not Brandon or Dylan.
• Steve was married when we last saw him so maybe that is why he is not with the two. Steve was adopted and he was obsessed with finding his birth parents (then later found out that his "adopted" father was his birth father") so why would he do that to his own child.
• I have heard two different things about Ian Ziering and his stance on appearing on the new 90210- that he would like to and that he would not like to, so there you go. Or not.

I really would love to see some more of the original cast. The whole show should be- Beverly Hills, 90210: Married, Children & Middle Age. I would definitely watch.

Recap- Wednesday Edition SPOILERS

I got a new name for these posts since I'm gonna do them a lot more now. I'm doing this at 1:00 am because I can't sleep. I hate that! Lemme just get down to it-

America's Next Top Model (ANTM)- OMG! Lindsey and I were dying laughing at the very classy Bianca who was talking about how "high fashion" she is and then in the next breath how she "ain't afraid to cut up some clothes". Now, let me tell you how PISSED I would be if someone cut my clothes!! That is just wrong. I cannot take that attitude. It's gross. It's ghetto. I can't take seeing Jaslene (last season's winner) and her stupid "commercials". She cannot speak! GAH! Onto the pics- I think Heather is stunning. Victoria's picture was so cute with her big coquettish eyes and pretzel arms. I loved it. Bianca's picture was ugly. She is very pretty but her face was wrong. I hated the whole "rock-climbing" set-up and Jay's "give me ART" and "what are you thinking about?" Hello- they are freaking MODELING. They are not performing rocket science or even writing a novel (he he he). I know that you have to project feeling in your face when you model, but gimmie a break. I wanted Bianca to go but whatever.

Gossip Girl- Yeah, yeah, yeah... I watch it and I love it. Thank God I'm not in high school anymore! Girls are royal bitches. I had people talk about me in high school because I was sick a lot and missed school. Rumors flew and all that but, whatever. I did have friends and the people who were really out to hurt me didn't go to school with me!

Private Practice- I think this show definitely has potential. The episode tonight was a good one. The stripper was stupid but was funny when Addison referred to her to Pete later. I loved the "tingly" thing. The switched baby plot- oh the horror!! I always tell Luke that when we have our lil dumpling that he is to follow her all around because that is just a huge fear! But, for the DAD to do it because the baby was sick? How awful! I love Violet. She's so good and I know it's residual love for Amy (a la Judging Amy). Don't you definitely see her and Cooper together? Didn't you see that a long time ago? The baby switch- heartbreaking, yes, but i don't think it was very realistic. Can it really be that easy? I mean just like that- I have yours, you have mine- SWITCH! Finally, PETE is creepy. I don't like him. I hope I do eventually but, as of now, I don't.

Top Chef- It was the finale and I love this show. Oh, and I love Chef Tom. I wanted Casey to win soooooo bad because 1) I've loved her from the get go and 2) we NEED a woman winner! Sadly, it was not to be. I still think the black guy should have been in the end. I'll not say the winner here, even though I've warned you of spoilers.

Pushing Daisies- I really want to see this! I have to wait though until I can clear up some space for it. Right now, the premiere episode comes on again on Friday at 7:00. You can also watch ABC shows on their website. This show is a visual delight (I peaked during a commercial break) and has a very creative and unique concept. I'm excited to watch.

Kid Nation- These kids are just the cutest things. Mallory talking to her parents was so sweet. Mallory and Olivia (sisters) were also very adorable. Laurel is such a fantastic leader, friend and such a smart and mature girl. The other kid I just want to take home is Jared. He's the little jester from Georgia. I love this show and I'll continue to sing it's praises. The lessons learned are enormous. Conflict solving was a big lesson learned on today's episode. It was really amazing and gives hope for the future generation.

I still have to watch Dirty Sexy Money. It's waiting on the DVR- along with Law & Order:SVU, Cold Case, Better Half, Kimora: Life in the Fast Lane.
